Job Description
As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring quality food production and a smooth workflow. You will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, and upholding food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
Assist in menu planning and recipe development
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Train new kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and procedures
Coordinate with the management team to meet customer needs and preferences
Skills
Proficient in food safety practices and regulations
Experience in banquet or fine dining settings
Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff
Knowledge of menu planning and food management
Ability to oversee food production processes efficiently
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
Proficient in inventory management to control costs and minimize waste
