Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a creative individual who has knitwear design experience in the luxury and/or contemporary market
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design for fully fashioned knitwear
Must have degree in Fashion Design with Knitwear or equivalent work experience
Must have a demonstrated strong taste level, research skills and ability to identify brand appropriate silhouettes and design concepts
Must have demonstrated extensive knowledge in yarns, stitches, and knitting machines
Must have demonstrated knowledge in creating knitwear tech hand-offs
Must have strong time management and organizational skills to establish priorities and meet specific deadlines
Must have ability to be pro-active, work effectively in a fast-paced environment and react to evolving needs
Must have demonstrated advanced knowledge in Procreate, Illustrator and Photoshop
Must have strong interpersonal skills and team player
Must have proficiency in demonstrated design in hand drawing, CAD, draping
Must have ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment
Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Must have ability to work independently and at the same time also take direction
Experience in runway collection is plus
Must provide digital portfolio of work to be considered

Design and sketch into seasonal RTW knitwear collections based on a comprehensive understanding of the merch plan and interpreting the seasonal direction into innovative and commercial designs
Support design development including organizing swatch archive and reference samples, sourcing yarns/ trims and organizing labdips
Responsible for updating line list each season and ensuring all yarn and trim details are up to date
Update sketches, CAD/ print layouts and to-scale stitch layouts as needed
Assist in development fitting and collaborate with PD/Tech to achieve design intentions
Support asset creation for each season including style out, runway preparation, look book shoot, and product shoot
