Job Summary:

You will work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to create high-quality software solutions that meet client and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications or backend services using Kotlin.
• Code Review: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of the application, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Continuous Integration: Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process and ensure fast, reliable releases.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code and system architecture.
• Learning & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep your skills sharp and relevant.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Kotlin: Strong knowledge and experience in Kotlin for Android development or server-side applications.
• Android Development: Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Android Studio (for mobile developers).
• Backend Development (optional): Experience with Kotlin on the server-side using frameworks like Ktor, Spring Boot, or similar.
• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
• Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, or others relevant to the project.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Multiplatform Development: Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform development tools.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• UI/UX Knowledge: Understanding of user experience and design principles.
• API Integration: Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working with JSON or XML data formats.
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases, depending on the application requirements.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
