The Kumon Meadowhead Study Centre; a franchise of Kumon Educational UK is owned and run by Rita Rughani who started Kumon Crookes Study Centre in 2005. Kumon Meadowhead centre is still in early stages but is already growing rapidly through recommendation. Our families are from a variety of backgrounds.

We currently have a very exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to work at study Meadowhead Study centre.
Hours of work: Wednesdays -3.30pm to 5.30pm and Fridays -3.30pm to 6.30pm
Key responsibilities of this role will include (but not exclusively):
• Welcoming students and parents and maintaining accurate records of attendees for emergency procedures and child safeguarding.
• Maintaining a professional image for all clients and visitors and liaising with parents.
• Booking appointments in person, by phone or Email.
• Liaising with the instructor on all issues raised.
• Overseeing students arriving and leaving safely and efficiently.
• Undertaking all aspects of office administration including recording students work.
• Training and working as a class assistant when required and to develop a full understanding of the programmes and procedures.
• Supervising waiting children and playing an active part in child safeguarding and health and safety issues.
• Assisting with information meetings and assessments.
• Developing a full understanding of the Kumon programmes and methodology.
• Assisting with fee collection and training parents with marking homework if necessary.
• Taking detailed messages for the Instructor.
• Key skills and experience required for this role:
• Provide an efficient but friendly service whilst enforcing the centres procedures and policies.
• Able to relate professionally to children of all ages as well as adults.
• A passion for education and the development of children.
• An aptitude for maths and English.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks effectively and accurately.
• Be adaptable as the needs of a growing study centre dictate.
