KYC Compliance Analyst
Dallas, TX - Fully Remote
• Candidates MUST be CURRENTLY based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
One of Vaco's investment management partners is looking to onboard a KYC Analyst due to workload and growth of the company. Analysts will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization complies with regulatory requirements regarding customer onboarding, monitoring, and record-keeping.
They are looking for folks with an investment banking background and AML monitoring/screening experience as well as Know Your Customer compliance.
They are offering a fully remote schedule after a 6-month probationary period (2 days onsite/week) working with the local dealmaking team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough KYC checks on new and existing clients, ensuring all documentation and information meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform due diligence reviews, assessing the risk profile of clients based on factors such as jurisdiction, business type, and transaction activity.
• Analyze customer data and documents to verify identity, financial background, and any potential red flags.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KYC regulations, AML/CTF legislation, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
• Monitor customer accounts for suspicious activity, preparing reports and escalating any findings to the appropriate internal teams.
• Work with internal teams to resolve compliance issues and gaps in customer records.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of KYC policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, internal auditors, and external parties as needed during audits or reviews.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and adapt internal practices to meet evolving legal requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members and other departments on KYC-related matters.
