We’re looking for a L2 Azure Engineer role for the Mumbai location, who will be part of our Delivery Team in India.

Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Management:
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, VPN/ER Gateway, Storage, Load Balancers, Application Gateway/WAF, Azure Firewall, AKS, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMSS, etc.
• Configuration/Deployment of PaaS services like SQL Database/SQL MI/MySQL, ADF, WebApp, Functions, etc.
• Deployment/Configuration of HUB/Spoke model with CAF.
• Configuration of Azure services via private endpoints for secure connectivity.
• Proficiency in Azure services, PowerShell/CLI, Terraform scripting, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Strong understanding of Azure security services i.e., Azure Sentinel, Defender, Firewall, WAF, DDoS, Microsoft Identity and Security (PIM, Conditional Access) etc.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure resources.
Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide level 2 support for Azure-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 3 support teams to address complex problems.
Security and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce security best practices in Azure environments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Automation and Scripting:
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other relevant tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to the automation of deployment processes and infrastructure as code.
Monitoring and Alerting:
• Configure monitoring solutions to detect and respond to performance issues and anomalies.
• Set up alerting mechanisms for critical Azure resources.
Capacity Planning:
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to plan and implement scalable and reliable Azure solutions.
• Assist in capacity planning based on current and future requirements.
Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and architects.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Incident Management:
• Participate in incident response and recovery activities.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated on the latest Azure features, services, and best practices.
• Pursue relevant certifications to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-+00, AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700.
