Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team at United Descaler Private Limited. This full-time, junior-level position is based in our New Delhi headquarters. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a laboratory setting. The Lab Assistant will support various laboratory operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our lab facilities.
Qualifications And Skills
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques to perform routine tests and experiments with precision and accuracy (Mandatory skill).
• Skilled in equipment maintenance, ensuring all lab instruments and tools are properly calibrated and functioning (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in inventory management, keeping track of laboratory supplies and ensuring timely restocking (Mandatory skill).
• Competency in sample preparation, preparing samples for analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Data entry skills for accurately recording experimental results and maintaining organized database records.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, adhering to all safety protocols to maintain a secure laboratory environment.
• Excellent documentation skills, capable of maintaining detailed reports of laboratory activities and findings.
• Strong communication skills, effectively interacting with team members and relaying information efficiently.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting experiments and research projects under the supervision of senior lab technicians and scientists.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are ready for use at all times.
• Monitor and manage laboratory inventories, ordering supplies as needed to avoid any disruptions in lab activities.
• Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety and health regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
• Organize and label samples for processing and analysis, guaranteeing correct identification and traceability.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry and keeping accurate laboratory records.
• Assist in training new team members on laboratory protocols and procedures to uphold company standards.
