Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Monique Zetka)
Position Summary:
Prepares media for nematode cultures.
Cleans glassware and restocks consumables such as pipette tips, etc.
Maintains lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Knowledge of basic sterile techniques.
Punctual, reliable and responsible.
Good time management skills.
Education/Experience:
Pursuing Science undergraduate degree.
Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (4) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Minimal or No Related Experience
Hourly Salary:
(AMUSE A) $16.20
Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week:
15 (Part time)
