We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Lab Technicians at our Central Lab at Vyttila.
Position Overview:
As a Lab Technician at Vivid Diagnostic Centre, you will play a critical role in our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for conducting various medical tests, preparing samples, and ensuring accurate and timely results that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the quality standards of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including but not limited to, hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology.
Prepare and analyze patient samples, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper calibration.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with NABL and ISO 9001-2015 standards.
Document and report test results promptly and accurately.
Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory reagents and samples.
Participate in quality control and assurance activities to maintain laboratory excellence.
Collaborate with medical professionals to provide diagnostic information for patient care.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualification: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or B.Sc. MLT (Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology).
Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a Hospital, Medical Centre, or Diagnostic Centre.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
Proficient in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
