Job Description
• Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment in preparation for specific tasks.
• Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management.
• Experience in data collection and interpretation as well as the storage and retrieval of samples in a laboratory setting.
• Collect, receive, and label specimens from patients or research subjects for analysis.
• Prepare biological samples (e.g blood, urine, tissue) for testing by centrifugation, aliquoting, and other processing techniques.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of specimens to maintain sample integrity and prevent contamination.
• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses using standard protocols and procedures.
• Conduct biochemical, hematological, microbiological, immunological, and molecular tests as required.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments, such as microscopes, spectrophotometers, and automated analyzers, to obtain test results
