DESIGNATION: Lab Technician - Clinical Laboratory
QUALIFICATION: DMLT / B.Sc with DMLT / B.Sc (MLT)
YRS OF EXP.: 0 – 2 Yrs
GENDER: Male / Female
SALARY: Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ø Collecting, receiving, labelling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
Ø Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
Ø Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.)
Ø Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
Ø Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
Ø Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
Ø Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Ø Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
Ø Providing technical support, when necessary.
Ø Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
