As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical laboratory procedures, including specimen processing, sample analysis, and reporting results to the laboratory manager. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a potentially hazardous environment. Responsibilities:
• Prepare requisition forms and specimen records to be sent to the reference laboratory.
• Process specimens in accordance with established SOPs at Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics.
• Store samples properly to maintain their integrity and prevent contamination.
• Dispose of old or expired samples according to laboratory protocols.
• Transcribe, file, and maintain all pathology and clinical laboratory files.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and observe turnaround times (TAT).
• Adhere strictly to the safety rules outlined in the SOPs, particularly in potentially hazardous environments.
• Operate laboratory equipment and conduct tests accurately, reporting findings to the laboratory manager.
• Assist in multitasking and managing multiple laboratory tasks efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with the latest laboratory practices.
Requirements:
