DESIGNATION: Lab Technician - Histopathology
QUALIFICATION: DMLT / B.Sc (MLT)
YRS OF EXP.: 2 – 5 Yrs
GENDER: Male / Female
SALARY: Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ø Collecting, receiving, labelling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
Ø Must be familiar with cutting histo sections on a microtome, tissue embedding, staining (H&E and special), and grossing writing.
Ø Results of laboratory testing, and aid with technical tasks.
Ø Complete all the tasks given to you from time to time by your superior.
Ø Processing samples according to established SOPs and in accordance with TAT and OTR (On time Report).
Ø IQC, EQAS, and immunohistochemistry knowledge are required for histopathology.
Ø While working, follow all pertinent health and safety regulations.
