Responsibilities:
Ensure all Raw Material deliveries are received and audited in a timely manner, physically as well as in SAP system
Reviewing and auditing important Food safety documents.
Maintaining and improving quality and food safety systems by performing analytical testing, analytical instrument calibration and maintenance
Training and coaching the site team in quality processes and testing
Conducting internal audits, generating and analysing reports and support with customer complaints and investigations
Chemical preparation handling
Ensure compliance with Hold and Abort systems
Comply with site GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Policy to ensure quality and food safety of products manufactured comply to specification
Qualifications:
Qualifications in Science (Chemistry) or Food Science or related discipline (Preferable)
Previous laboratory experience in similar manufacturing environment (Essential)
High level of technical skills in the areas of instrumentation and/or chemistry & mechanical reasoning
Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High levels of self-management and initiative with the ability to plan and prioritise, along with set and achieve targets
