A fantastic opportunity has arisen to recruit a Trainee Bulk Lab Analyst to train in the area of Asbestos in order to progress.
The role and responsibilities:
· Interact with different contractors/clients
· Knowledge of current legislation and guidance documentation
· Operate under our UKAS accreditation
· Be part of one of the largest environmental consultancies in the country
· Commitment to attend courses to attain the necessary qualifications
· Reliable, adaptable person
· A good team player who has a good eye for detail.
##EXPECTATIONS
It is expected that the Lab Analyst is proactive in their own learning and ensuring that they fully understand the in house procedures and paperwork.
Demonstrate good time keeping, ensuring that deadlines are met, and excellent communications skills.
##QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
BOHS P401 in Asbestos analysis
GCSE or equivalent in: English Language and Mathematics
Good computers skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills
Good multi-tasking skills
Methodical and meticulous approach to tasks
##DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Microsoft Office proficient
Auditing and quality control skills
