Our client a national firm has a fantastic opportunity on offer to join their highly skilled team in their Eastern suburbs office. They seek a professional with scientific knowledge and/or laboratory experience who is interested in helping fellow professionals with their scientific supply requirements.
About the role;
As an Internal Account Manager, you will play a fundamental role, processing of client orders and ensuring timely delivery. Developing over time your own client base, you will be responsible for selling a range of laboratory products, including chemicals, consumables and instruments.
Key responsibilities;
Answer the phone in a professional and timely manner
Assist clients' with price and availability via email and developing ongoing positive relationships via phone
Generate and process quotes and data entry of client orders
As knowledge and experience expands manage and build your own client base
Key strengths;
Microsoft Word and Excel intermediate level
Sound customer service focus
Thrive in a competitive market
Willingness to go the extra mile
Experience working in a laboratory and/or a qualification in the sciences is highly desirable
Training and professional development will be provided for the role.
