Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and Support Practical Classes: Set up laboratories, prepare chemical solutions, and assist with practical sessions for undergraduate students.
Maintain Laboratory Equipment: Test, calibrate, and maintain scientific instruments and apparatus to ensure optimal performance.
Manage Laboratory Resources: Conduct inventories, assist with purchasing, and ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals and materials.
Provide Technical Support: Assist students and staff with enquiries, contribute to safety procedures, and maintain accurate records and databases.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Science, with experience in a teaching or research laboratory setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Experience with scientific instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and laboratory software.
