Profile: Lab Technician
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4-5 years
Description:
Require Lab Technician to provide hardware technical support to Intel product development teams. This requires prior hardware debugging knowledge, high level Intel Architecture knowledge, strong problem-solving skills and lab management skills. The candidate needs to work with Intel product development teams to drive resolution of hardware technical issues. The candidate should exhibit skills like willing to listen, understand, and respond professionally to development team.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in schematic and printed circuit board layout with high power components (CPU, GPU, FGPAs, Accelerators etc.)
• Working experience on board power on and debugging with Lab debug tools such as multimeter, CRO, I2C programmer etc.
• Experience in Lab management such as equipment tracking, housekeeping and lab safety knowledge
• Hands-on experience with board debugging, probing, soldering, packaging, and assembly
Preferred Qualifications:
• Should be able to assist development team with board debug and power-on support with Lab tools such as multimeter and CRO
• Experience in Lab management such as lab database management, procurement support, Lab items tracking and updating etc
• Understanding of servers or network and communication systems with experience of one or more of the following: microprocessor architecture, chipset architecture, system architecture, platform hardware design or high-speed signaling/interconnects will be of added advantage
• Experience with PCI, PCI-Express, Ethernet (1G/10G/25G), SATA/NVMe, USB2/3 and DDR4/DDR5 memory interfaces
• Should be capable of providing technical support to customer queries with help from Intel development team
• Good listening and communication skills
