Are you looking for a busy, Lab based role, in the food industry?

Are you experienced of working in Lab environments previously and immediately available?

Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Laboratory Technician on a rolling Temporary basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various tests from samples from production, ensuring accurate recording of results and working alongside the Lab Manager.

Shift: Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm

Hourly rate: £15 per hour

Immediate Start

Responsibilities:
• Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, work in progress and finished products to verify that materials meet all required quality and functionality parameters
• Carry out Salmonella testing on various samples
• Participate in cover for daily activity of laboratory as required to ensure laboratory tasks are completed in accordance with deadlines, including the participation in QA panels and providing C of A's to internal and external customers.
