Overview of Position
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this position will play a key role in maintaining the laboratory facilities and supporting our analytical scientists.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain internal equipment calibrations.
Ordering and replenishment of consumables.
Inventory of chemicals and R&D samples and products
Support Analytical Scientists and the Laboratory Manager as required.
Maintenance of equipment.
Maintain clean glassware supply to the laboratories.
Ensure supply of clean lab coats.
Maintain laboratory to 5S principles.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess an appropriate qualification in laboratory science, biological sciences, or related discipline with a demonstrated track record of working in a similar laboratory environment.
1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Desired experience and skills
Maintaining calibration schedules of laboratory equipment.
Maintaining laboratory consumable stock levels.
Experience in a GMP based environment and facility would be desirable.
Self-managing, planning, organising, prioritising and multi-tasking on your own and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and effective management of priorities and tight timeframes.
