About the role
As a Laboratory Technician you will assist with the processing of samples from the first screening of future participants through to the inpatient stays and following outpatient visits.
Key responsibilities
Specimen reception and registration
Sample preparation and processing
Sample testing
Sample shipping
Data collection
Requirements
Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree
Experience working in a laboratory (desired)
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
Good understanding of clinical research
Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Flexible hours, Monday to Friday and one weekend shift
