Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks that support our operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, working in close proximity to heavy equipment and a commitment to safety.
Duties
Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials
Guide operators in low visibility conditions.
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction or maintenance activities
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project needs
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Dig and fill holes manually where heavy equipment use is not practical.
Equipment clean up and maintenance.
Shop cleaning & organizing.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
A valid, clean class 5 driver’s license
Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season. (April - December)
