Job Description
What you are responsible for:
Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals;
Classifying non-ferrous metals and determining the type of material;
Weighing the material;
Operating the forklift;
Performing daily maintenance;
Carrying out general site maintenance;
Keeping property and equipment in good condition;
Cleaning your workspace at the end of the shift;
Entering data into the RECY system;
Offering prices to customers;
Providing excellent customer service;
Assisting with torch cutting when needed;
Preparing shipments and receiving materials;
Wearing personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
To join our team:
You have experience operating a forklift (an asset);
You have experience in metal recycling (an asset);
You have good knowledge of metals (an asset);
You are able to work in a dusty environment;
You are able to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
You are in good physical shape;
You work safely;
You are responsible and resourceful;
You have good teamwork skills;
You are punctual and diligent.
