Our business Aquamech Services in Dutton Park, Brisbane has an exciting employment opportunity available for a Mechanic. We specialise in repairing and rebuilding a wide range of pumps, chlorinators, robotic pool cleaners and more.
Full training and ongoing development training will be given to the chosen candidate.
Electrical experience would also be an advantage but not essential.
You must be competent in using hand and power tools e.g. drill, grinder etc.
You will also need to be able to work on your own as well as part of our team in a high paced environment.
This is a full-time position.
Please note that we don’t expect you to have experience in the ‘Pool Industry’. We will train you.
Once you have been trained your job role will be as follows:
·Conducting electrical and mechanical diagnosis tests on pumps, robotic cleaners and other related pool equipment
·Breaking down pool and tank pumps, robotic cleaners and other related pool equipment and quoting for repairs
·Rebuilding pumps with new and reconditioned parts
·Electrical test and tag
·Assisting to remove and install existing and new pool equipment on site as required for both domestic and commercial customers.
·Customer Service
·General workshop cleaning duties
