LabVIEW Engineer [Job Code: ZL001]
Responsibilities:
• Software Development in LabView
• Designing and implementing highly configurable software
• Implementing appropriate design patterns including multi-processing and optimising for real-time systems
• Integrating and testing the software on the system prior to delivery
• Figuring out and implementing reusable software modules
• implementing actor framework compliant blocks
• Interfacing with hardware such as cameras and controllers
• Test the software running in the complete system on the field
• Use object-oriented programming concepts as required
• Make release plans with appropriate features
• implement project plans
• Maintain and upgrade software, complete product life-cycle
• Documentation and assisting customers with usage
• Share knowledge with the team
Desired Candidate Profile:
• BTech/MTech with 2-4 years of experience in LabView programming
• Passion to create flawless and highly re-usable software using LabVIEW
• Experience with LabVIEW programming, developing complex systems
• Ability to develop complex programs, coupled with a high level of willingness to share knowledge within the team
• Experience in defining module interfaces, and in building re-usable modules
• Experience in optimising LabVIEW software for speed
• Experience with LabVIEW Actor Framework will be an added advantage
• Experience with revision control management will be an added advantage
• The keen learner, always on the lookout for the latest programming techniques, as well as specific methodologies in LabVIEW
• Experience with system level testing of own code
• Experience with documenting using UML concepts will be added advantage
• Must be a good team player
• Willingness to stretch during project completion
