About the Assignment

The Land Contracts Officer is responsible for ensuring Santos' compliance with financial and contractual commitments made to landholders are met. This will be achieved through the analysis of contractual documents, supporting information and the financial commitments.

Duties and responsibilities:

Preparation and drafting of Land Access contracts and documentation

Analysis and processing of Landholder Annual Compensation

Preparation and execution of a variety of Land Access notices

Supporting Quality Assurance and Control of land access contracts and documents through informal and formal audits and reviews

Working with accuracy and within required timeframes, to produce all relevant landholder and contract information documents

Calculating and Coordinating landholder payments on a monthly basis

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Very strong attention to detail, and a specific interest in establishing and operating in alignment with commercial agreements

The ability to communicate commercial concepts with clarity, and with the intent to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for Santos and the landholders upon whose land Santos operates

High level computing skills and the ability to effectively utilise support systems

Strong planning and workload prioritisation skills

About You

Knowledge of contract operation, ideally developed through positions within finance, accounting and/or legal support positions, or qualifications in law, commerce, accounting, supply chain or similar business majors

Understanding of rural communities, rural land practices and/or the agricultural or oil and gas sectors

Strong database experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred, although not essential)

Very strong attention to detail
