Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Landscape & Floral Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with plants and flowers, but can also perform general landscaping and maintenance tasks.
The successful candidate will help design, install, and maintain seasonal flower urns and planters, while also supporting broader property care including mowing, pruning, and site maintenance.
Responsibilities
Design and install seasonal flower arrangements in urns, planters, and beds
Select and plant flowers, greenery, and decorative elements based on season and site conditions
Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and site clean-up
Assist with landscape installations, soil preparation, grading, and other landscaping projects
Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely and efficiently
Maintain plant health by monitoring for pests, disease, and environmental stress
Remove and rotate seasonal displays as required
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project schedules and client expectations
Requirements
Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or floral/planter work is required
Knowledge of seasonal flowers, plant arrangements, and basic horticultural practices
Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license is considered an asset
Nice to Have
Experience with high-end residential or condominium planter displays
Background in horticulture, floral design, or visual planting arrangements
Compensation & Benefits
$25–$30/hour based on experience
