Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional.
-MUST have driving licence and drive big trailers!!!!!
Duties
Operate power tools and hand tools for landscape maintenance, including but not limited to lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding to keep landscapes in optimal condition.
Dig, plant, and maintain gardens by selecting appropriate plants and ensuring their health through proper irrigation techniques.
Build and install landscape features such as retaining walls, pathways, and garden beds to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to landscape maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Ability to dig and prepare soil for planting while understanding irrigation systems for effective water management.
Experience in garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, and fertilizing plants.
Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in all landscaping projects.
