About the role
Humphreys Landscaping specialises in delivering exceptional outdoor spaces for some of Auckland’s most beautiful homes. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail and producing landscapes of the highest quality.
This is a permanent, full time position where you will work alongside experienced foremen and a professional landscaping team bringing landscape designs to life. You will be involved in the construction of high end residential landscapes across Auckland.
Humphreys Landscaping Ltd provides strong support for our team and focuses on training, development and career progression within the landscaping industry.
Responsibilities
General landscaping duties will include:
Assisting with the construction of high end residential landscapes
Working with both hard and soft landscaping materials
Following landscape plans and working alongside experienced foremen
Operating industry standard landscaping tools and equipment
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Following health and safety procedures on all job sites
Skills & Experience
Applicants are preferred to have, but not limited to, the following:
Landscaping or relevant construction experience
Knowledge of plants and the ability to read landscape plans is an advantage
Experience using a range of landscaping tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work
A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
Good communication and reliability
Required:
A valid New Zealand drivers licence
Reliable transport to and from job sites
A good level of physical fitness
