Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand and power tools to maintain gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas.
Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and equipment.
Dig, plant, and irrigate flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as needed.
Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
Ensure proper care of plants through regular watering, fertilizing, and pest control measures.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain clean and organized work areas by properly storing tools and disposing of waste.
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely.
Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks.
Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, and build various landscape features effectively.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
