Landscaper/Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to creating beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape construction , including planting, sodding, hauling bricks, wheelbarrowing and the use of both hand and power tools. The Landscape Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape construction tasks, including digging, hauling, and installing.

Assist in garden preparation and planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various landscaping tasks.

Operate power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as digging and cutting.

Build landscape features such as retaining walls, pathways, or decorative elements as needed.

Follow safety protocols while working with equipment and in outdoor environments.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various landscaping equipment.

Ability to dig, plant, and maintain gardens with attention to detail.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.

Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and techniques.

Capability to irrigate landscapes effectively for optimal plant health.

Good physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $16.46-$27.75 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
