Language Educator
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in developing their language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver comprehensive French language lessons in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for language learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning.
• Organize cultural activities and events related to the French language and Francophone cultures.
• Maintain accurate student records, including grades and attendance.
• Collaborate with other language and subject teachers for interdisciplinary learning.
• Attend departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school functions as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Fluency in French and proficiency in English.
• Teaching certification or relevant credential (if applicable to region).
Desirable Qualifications:
• Master's degree in French or Education.
• Prior experience teaching French at primary/secondary/college/adult level.
• Familiarity with specific curricula (e.g., CBSE, IB, IGCSE, DELF/DALF).
