Role Description:
Legacies Techno Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Laptop Service Technician to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of laptops and related hardware. The role requires a hands-on approach, with duties including field service, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring the optimal performance of laptop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and install new hardware and software systems for laptops.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop hardware and software issues.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including updates and hardware checks.
• Identify and resolve network, connectivity, and server-related issues.
• Upgrade firmware, software, and outdated hardware components.
• Monitor and maintain security systems, including installing necessary updates.
• Conduct regular tests, system upgrades, and backups to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
• Prepare technical documentation, such as error logs, maintenance reports, and user manuals.
• Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support in field service scenarios.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Laptop or Computer Service Technician.
• Strong knowledge of laptop hardware components and software systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing technical issues.
• Experience with network connectivity and server troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with firmware and software upgrades.
• Ability to monitor and maintain security systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Educational Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in hardware and software maintenance are a plus.
