Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development with a focus on the Laravel framework. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Maintain Web Applications:
• Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Database Management:
• Design and manage databases using MySQL or other relational databases.
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• API Development:
• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure their integration with front-end components.
• Work on third-party API integrations.
• Code Optimization and Troubleshooting:
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Conduct regular code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications.
• Ensure compliance with web security standards and best practices.
• Project Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver projects on time.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and MVC architecture.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in Laravel or PHP development.
