Job Description
Laravel is a popular web application framework used mainly for creating secure and scalable web applications. A Laravel developer is responsible for designing and developing web applications using Laravel as well as other programming languages like PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The Laravel developer will work in a team of developers, collaborating with project managers, designers, and other developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel PHP framework
- Participate in Agile software development process including planning, grooming, and sprint review meetings
- Write high-quality code that follows industry-standard coding practices and guidelines
- Conduct code reviews and participate in code merging and maintenance
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to build, test and deploy high-quality web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug code-based issues
- Responsible for writing technical documentation of code design and infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Laravel developer or similar role for at least 2+ years
- Experience with PHP & PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as VueJS, ReactJS, or AngularJS
- Experience working with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of REST API development and integration
- Understanding of version control tools like Git or SVN
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile project management methodology
- Knowledge of AWS / cloud services
- Network, system, and server administration skills
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, etc.
