Offroad Creative is seeking a skilled Laser Operator / Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is primarily focused on operating an Accurl 6kW fibre laser, with additional responsibility for programming both laser cutting and press brake jobs using Metalix and MBend software.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor an Accurl 6kW fibre laser
Program laser cutting and press brake jobs using Metalix and MBend
Load and unload materials using a forklift
Interpret engineering drawings and production schedules
Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of finished components
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Work closely with supervisors and the production team to meet production targets
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Skills & Experience
Valid forklift licence (LF) – mandatory
Proven experience operating fibre laser cutting machinery
Experience programming laser and press brake jobs using Metalix, MBend, or similar software
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and quality
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
