Hours:
Afternoon shift to closing
Duties
*
Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and uniforms.
Inspect items for stains or damages prior to laundering and report any issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance needs.
Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable.
Assist with dry cleaning and laundering services, ensuring garments are handled with care.
Basic lifting of merchandise and laundry up to 40lbs.
Perform basic math calculations for billing and payment processes.
Skills
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality.
Must have experience in laundering processes including washing, drying, and folding.
Knowledge of basic sewing techniques is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Prior experience in a similar role and POS is preferable.
Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
Ability to stand for long period
Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
Able to communicate in English
Able to speak Espanol is a plus
