Position Overview
The successful candidate will ensure that all linens are washed, dried, folded, and ironed to Company Standards. These steps need to be done on a daily basis based on room counts. The Laundry Attendant will also ensure the laundry room is clean, organized and safe. The machinery must be kept clean and chemicals utilized efficiently.
Experience
Experience in Laundry, an asset
Skills
· Solid organizational skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Strong multi-tasking ability
· Excellent punctuality and attendance
· Ability to work independently and within a team
Requirements
· Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
· Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
· Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (Afternoons, Weekends, Long Weekends, Holidays)
