We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Laundry Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with enquiries, handling orders, processing payments, and ensuring garments are received and returned accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent front-desk service
Receive, tag, and record laundry and dry-cleaning items accurately
Answer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner
Process orders, issue receipts, and handle cash/EFTPOS transactions
Coordinate with laundry staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion
Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Assist with sorting, packing, and preparing completed orders for collection
Handle customer concerns or complaints calmly and professionally
Keep accurate records of customer orders and special instructions
Skills and Experience
Previous reception, retail, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer and cash-handling skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Experience in laundry or dry-cleaning services is an advantage but not essential
