What are we looking for?
Our National Work + Road team is now seeking a Law Clerk to join our Penrith office. As a valued member of this team, you will help support a Lawyer as they advance claims on behalf of our clients who have been injured at work.
This is a full time opportunity however we are open to 4 days (minimum). Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work. In this role you will assist the team with the following duties:
Review, analyse and summarise documentation
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders
Prepare legal correspondence, court documents and briefs
Work closely with the Lawyer to advance legal matters for clients
What will you bring?
Ideally you will have the following:
A keen interest in personal injury law, either as a current law student or similar.
A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
Excellent written and drafting skills
Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
A willingness to learn
Proactive approach and initiative
