Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Clerk to support our legal team in managing family law cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law procedures and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal documents, including Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, and court forms
Manage client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed
Coordinate court filings, service of documents, and liaise with court personnel
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
Assist lawyers with trial preparation, including assembling briefs and organizing evidence
Maintain and monitor court dates, deadlines, and schedules
Experience

Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent certification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family law
Proficiency in legal software such as DivorceMate and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of family law rules and court procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
