Lawn Maintenance / Landscape Technician – Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of landscaping and lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and general groundskeeping to maintain and enhance residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

Operate lawn maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently

Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans

Apply fertilizers, weed control, and other treatments as needed

Perform seasonal cleanups, pruning, and basic irrigation checks

Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and professionally maintained

Requirements

Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s license (clean record for advancement opportunities)

Basic knowledge of plant care, tools, and safety procedures

Physical stamina to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks

Work Schedule & Conditions

Full-time, typically Monday to Friday with some weekend availability

Early morning start times; occasional overtime during peak seasons

Outdoor work with exposure to weather, dust, and noise

Compensation & Growth Opportunities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
