Franklin Gertler Étude légale • Law Office, founded in 1997, is a human-scale public law practice that offers bilingual and specialized services for Indigenous peoples, and in the fields of energy, environmental, natural resources, administrative and constitutional law. We listen to our clients and believe in providing excellent, creative and courageous legal services.
For over 25 years, we have offered legal advice on policy and legislative matters, assisted in the development of Indigenous laws, appeared before regulatory tribunals, and conducted litigation in the Superior Court, the Federal Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
The Challenge :
You are an experienced lawyer or a young lawyer. You will be actively involved in matters of Indigenous rights and governance; administrative and constitutional law, judicial review and litigation; energy regulation; and environmental law. You will be serving a clientele of Indigenous peoples, environmental NGOs, citizen coalitions, and municipalities.

Qualifications :
· Particular interest for Indigenous and constitutional law
· Ambition to develop and manage a practice
· Member of the Barreau du Québec
· Excellence in public law and civil procedure
· Superior oral and written expression in French and in English
· In addition to a law degree, other university studies would be an asset (history, economics, science, anthropology, environment, philosophy, etc.)
· Affinity for team work for the clients of the firm
· Addition of your client base would be a great advantage
· Possibility of partnership
· Mode and level of remuneration according to your experience and contribution
