What are we looking for?
Our Commonwealth Compensation (Comcare) practice group in our Sydney Office is now seeking a qualified Lawyer.
The successful person in this position will work closely with an established team across a range of Comcare matters and will take carriage of a file load. This is a true opportunity for a Lawyer to develop their skills. Critical to the role will be forging strong links with internal and external stakeholders.
Other responsibilities will include:
Management of a Comcare practice
Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice
Providing a tailored approach to clients to understand the context of their matter
Identifying practical and innovative solutions for clients
Maintain and build new client relationships for the practice
Providing exceptional service to clients
What will you bring?
Working within a collegiate and highly regarded team, the successful candidate will be a committed and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following:
Previous practising experience in personal injury law with a passion for Comcare;
Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills;
Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately;
Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management;
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment;
Ability to listen to, and empathise with clients and their families;
Ability to exercise judgement & resolve problems expeditiously & satisfactorily;
Superior organisational skills.
