Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated and proactive Lawyer/Associate to join our Tax and Superannuation Team. The role is split between our Headquarters in Parramatta and our Sydney CBD office.

The successful candidate will receive ongoing mentoring and guidance from well-respected names in the industry, whilst having the opportunity to develop their own career by working with a broad range of clients on matters relating to tax (direct and indirect) and superannuation advice.

The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years PQE within an accounting firm or law firm and will be able to hit the ground running having the following:

experience advising a range of high-profile clients, from small-medium enterprises, listed public companies to high-net worth individuals;

researching and providing advice on estate and succession planning, payroll tax, SMSF, superannuation, estate planning, taxation disputes, trust law, FBT, GST, land tax, international tax and mergers & acquisitions;

strong business acumen and experience with financial statements, tax returns and spreadsheets;

ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment;

excellent verbal and written communication skills;

strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products;

a ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to work hard and treat clients with respect; and

the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
