Job Description & Summary
A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you’ll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You’ll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials.

Responsibilities

PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited toAs a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Essential Functions of the Role:

Strategic Thought Leadership:
• Develop creative strategic solutions that address the client’s business challenges/ goals.
• Leads the design of strategy across various high-value business projects within the business. Drives the strategic planning process and acts as a trusted advisor to the business’s executive leadership and relevant stakeholders during strategy formulation, development, and execution.
• Supports the evaluation and development of the business’s long-term strategic plans by developing the business’s multi-year strategies and goals, establishes measurement criteria to monitor the performance of established strategies consistently, identify deficiencies, and avail actionable solutions.
• Support development of strategy planning tools and methodologies

People Leadership:
• Oversees the function to partner with leadership to drive short and long term people strategy from hire to retire relations and other compliance and community support programs.
• Sets clear objectives for team members based on capacity and specialization; Identifies, grooms, rewards and develops high performing team members as future leaders
• Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
• Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
• Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time• Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
• Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
• Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved

Operational Leadership:
• Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes, and implementing improvement activities wherever necessary
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the site, ensuring that the production is managed and performing efficiently and effectively
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the site’s operational efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated
• Identify opportunities for improvement with a continual focus on Operational Excellence, Automation & Innovation
• Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets and cost of production in each discipline to achieve financial objectives

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

· Significant experience in working in large and diverse service delivery teams across a large multi-national services organization

· Strategic thinking; ability to connect, identify less obvious opportunities, create impact without ******** direction

· Ability to work independently, to take ownership, to operate in a dynamic working environment· Excellent project management skills

· Strong communication (written and verbal) skills at all levels within the organization

Job Requirements:

Postgraduate/Graduate degree

Experience

· Approximately 15 plus years of relevant experience demonstrating above listed knowledge and skills
