We continue to invest and build a team of visionary tech talent, providing you with the training, freedom and opportunity to do pioneering work. As an LDAP Engineer you will be joining a small team of engineers that develop and set the strategy for one of the Banks key sources of identity and user metadata that underpins many critical business functions, such as infrastructure access to the Banks Unix estate. You will engage and partner with the business whilst working within a broader creative, collaborative and innovative team, with a strong desire to make an impact.

Your key responsibilities
Provide a maximum of 5 bullet points detailing key accountabilities, managerial/leadership responsibilities, day to day activities and systems that will be used
• Engineer and define the strategy for the Banks Oracle and ForgeRock LDAP directory infrastructures
• Work closely with all up\downstream systems\stakeholders to enhance the capabilities and datasets as per business needs
• 3rd line support of the same infrastructure
• Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria
• Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries implementing solutions which iteratively deliver value
Your skills and experience
• Oracle, ForgeRock or similar LDAP directory experience at an engineering level
• Strong scripting experience in at least two of the following – Perl, Java, C++ and Bash
• Analytical thinker, team player and possess strong communication skills
• Familiar in the use of solution design tools
• Understand key elements of security, risk & control
