This is a Lead Accountant role - supporting the local entity from ARC point of view India Chartered Accountant
• Relevant experience in local accounting and TAX regulations
• Experience in audit support, cooperation with TAX authority
• Accounting standards, IFRS, etc, experience
• Local India audit background (big4) is an advantage
• To finalize group reporting, Statutory Audit of annual accounts, Tax Accounts Tax Audit of
• Ensure statutory reporting for in compliance with the Indian accounting standards
• To co-ordinate and review quarterly BSI activity by respective due date
• To ensure compliance with Internal Finance Control requirements for all reporting activities especially for Month End Close Process
• To review, track clear month end provisions.
• To ensure good quality analytical reviews for group and statutory reporting (including GAIT entity reviews)
• To ensure actuarial valuation for the related entries/disclosure in books of accounts. To keep abreast of all updates in accounting policies/standards and have the same incorporated in the system.
• To lead activities related to reporting automation/FBW.
• To lead finance projects related to reporting requirement/accounting changes.
• To co-ordinate with Central Team ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies for monthly group reporting
• To manage SAP / FBW Chart of Accounts ensure data integrity
• Active participation in resolution of Inter Company approvals and accruals
• To finalise Board Presentation / Related Parties information in connection with quarterly Board Meeting
• To prepare and provide necessary inputs to directors as and when required including for Annual General Meeting
• Co-ordinate with Tax Team Review Income Tax / Deferred Tax Provisions
• To guide India Finance Team on accounting matters
• To co-ordinate Fixed Assets physical verification process
• To provide financial MI from time to time to various Departments
• To continuously monitor improvement initiatives, automation and digitization and take up projects for the same.
