We believe that the solution to India’s F&V supply chain problems lies at the intersection of (a) ‘Right’ implementation of Technology, (b) Rigorous & Repeatable Processes, and (c) Reliable 24X7 Network that appreciates category nuances.
The traditional F&V mandi ecosystem has been running for close to 2000 years, and in our opinion, it is well past its shelf life. This ecosystem was built at an era of food surplus, and at a time when there was no access to technological support. This needs to change.
We take a ‘Global-Maxima’ view to problem solving and believe in building channel agnostic tech-powered solutions. Specifically, we strongly believe in the value to be created and unlocked in solving problems in Semi-Urban & Rural India (Bharat). Fueled by a highly aspirational middle-income group and powered through government initiatives, rural India is on the verge of an explosive demand growth and we want to build the rails for the same.
Our Product Offerings
BU 1.0: Solving Problems for Digital Players
We entered the F&V space by solving for problems of digital/e-com clients. With the industry at a very nascent stage, we were very instrumental in building the rails for their fresh supply chain, grounds up.
The Digital F&V supply chain has three distinct and yet interconnected legs– (i) Farm Side Operations – comprising sorting, grading and logistics from the farm-gate to rural collection centers and onward logistics to cities; (ii) Upstream City Operations – comprising large fulfillment centers in cities where packing, processing & temperature treatment happens; and (iii) Downstream Operations – comprising of node operations & B2B/B2C last mile delivery to customers.
Each of these legs present huge opportunities for disruption and value creation. Our focus has been majorly on Upstream City Operations where we cater to clients like Dunzo, Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Ninjacart, Zomato amongst others across 12+ cities, handling 750+ tonnes of F&V everyday.

Introductory video - Click HereIndia lives in villages. With more than 68% of the population residing in rural areas (that is more than +50 million people!), food wastage in rural India (Bharat) is a massive problem to solve.
Contrary to popular belief, food wastage and fresh supply chain inefficiencies are 5-6x higher in rural areas than in urban regions, owing to longer supply chains and dispersed demand patterns. As a direct result, rural consumers get staler produce, pay higher prices and face high ‘kitchen wastage’ as they need to stock up from weekly markets.
With our unique women-entrepreneur led WOW model, we have been able to create massive goodness by way of 10+x reduction in wastage levels (3.8% against 40%), as well as create rural livelihoods with our women entrepreneurs earning INR 700-800 per day on average.
We use very high levels of technology interventions (Electric Vehicles, Telemetry, Artificial Intelligence, Route Optimization, Heat mapping, predictive analytics) to ensure high levels of user and consumer delight.
We are now on a ‘1 to n’ journey to scale this offering up to 10,000 villages over the next 6 months, impacting 15 million rural consumers directly! We are looking for hungry & aspirational individuals to join our talented team and create impact!
Role Description
Lead - Admin & Facilities
The role is part of our Strategy team, which is tasked with the objective of taking a surgical approach towards capacity function.
It’s a tailor-made role for someone whose profile is an amalgamation of governance/compliance & logistics/supply-chain startup experience. However, we are happy to engage with folks who have seen a different trajectory and are keen to take on “needle-moving” roles.
The role will be based out of our HQ at Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for planning purposes to meet operational requirements.
● Support Operations Team by ensuring timely and cost-efficient placement of off-rolls (contract) manpower, ensure payment processing on or before the 7th of every month
● On-board high-performing vendors and maintain a professional relationship.
● Evaluate vendor performance & ensure timely payment and reconciliation for the vendors
● Ensure 100% statutory compliance as required
● Be the custodian of the company's fixed & rental assets deployed across the facilities
● On-board/migrate/close facilities as per company requirements, ensure 100% recovery of deposits, and assets and facilitate a smooth transition.
● Work closely with the F&A/Business Finance team on budgets, Monthly provisions, deposits/Advances handling with Landlords/Vendors & balance confirmations etc.
● Proactively work on handling litigations & disputes with the vendors and landlords.
Requirements:
● At least 10 years of experience in vendor management, facilities management, or operations.
● Experience working with vendors and managing contracts.
● Experience in managing the placement of contract manpower.
● Experience in managing assets and facilities.
● Experience in handling disputes with vendors and landlords.
● Experience in ensuring statutory compliance.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
