Requirements
• 8+ years relevant experience in designing, implementing, troubleshoot & managing enterprise network.
• Software Defined Network - ACI and DNA - Operational skills.
• Must have excellent knowledge of routing, switching, firewall and VPN concepts
• Must have a strong working knowledge of common WAN\LAN\Wireless implementations
• Must have a strong understanding of routing protocols, including at least BGP, OSPF, EIGRP,
• Must have a strong understanding of QOS, and analysis of packets using tools like Wireshark
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms and deployment would be a major advantage
• Must have a strong understanding of spanning tree operation and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of securing and hardening networks and devices, network security concepts and managing zero-trust network environments
• Knowledge of Cisco and Miraki Wireless LAN standards and deployments
• Knowledge of Datacenter Switching platforms would be an advantage
Preferred
• Application level network troubleshooting preferred.
• Understanding of network infrastructure for Cloud (AWS) deployments would be a major advantage
• Scripting (Terraform/Python) would be a major advantage
• Comfortable with enterprise change control methodology and project management tools (Jira, ServiceNow)
What you will be doing here?
• Work on Level 3/4 support and escalations for global network infrastructure
• Work on network engineering and design projects and global network deployments
• Work on securing and hardening network infrastructure.
• Work with other IT teams on troubleshooting application performance issues
• Provide support and incident management for major outages
• Proactively work on improving efficiency and reliability of PGS's network
• Put together detailed technical documentation, drawings and work instructions for the other engineers to follow
• Train and mentor junior team members
